INQUIRY

Turangawaewae

Our class did inquiry in groups on the following questions:
  • What makes me special
  • What makes our whanau special
  • What makes Riverslea School Special
Each group took the following steps:
  1. A brainstorm using inspiration on IPADS
  2. Then did "Te Mahi" group poster on information for their question
  3. Then using Comic life on IPAdS collated information
  4. Groups then shared work done with senior students in the school for their reflection
  5. Then students completed an individual assessment of the Inquiry experience for them
Student reflection:
Voice of Crysire-Jade I think inquiry is fun, we get to work with others and at our own pace. It was hard doing the interviews because I shy. Next time I try harder.

Wednesday 2 July:

We had Nan and Papa day… The school welcomed them and sang some waiata…
Then they came to our classrooms to present our “Duffy Books”… They then had a hangi for lunch
